We have over 20 years experience in maintaining PC and Apple Macintosh computer systems, laptops, notebooks, servers and handheld devices. We also install and maintain computer networks, wireless and internet connections for homes and businesses.

We can repair most computer systems down to component level where possible, this means that where some repair centres will quote you for complete part replacements or even whole system replacements we can just fix the part that's broken, possibly saving you hundreds of pounds.

We currently repair on average two computers every day, but we can do more! We're also in partnership with Bourne Data Management so we can cover staffing issues with another resource. We usually turn around a job in less than 3 days.

Got Computer Problems? - Don't Panic!

JESK can diagnose & repair almost all types of computer related hardware or software problems on-site at your home, business premises, or off-site at our office in Lechlade. We cover the Lechlade, Faringdon, Fairford & Highworth areas. We can supply any necessary parts and operate a 'no fix no fee' policy.

We pride ourselves in being competent enough to honestly advise you on the most cost efficient way to upgrade computers and components.

We hate waste! A lot of computer hardware is unneccessarily upgraded due to bad advice or lack of knowledge. If your laptop, notebook or desktop computer is working but running slowly or is unresponsive don't buy a new one without getting it checked out by us first. There's a fair chance we can do something about it, it'll save you a lot of money.

Contrary to popular belief it is often NOT true that getting your computer or peripheral repaired is more expensive than buying a new one. We don't sell computer stuff and so have no interest in selling a you a new one! We want you to make the most out of the one you've already got. So unless you have a compelling reason to buy a new computer, printer or other peripheral, think about talking to us first.

We don't mark up the cost of parts, you pay what we paid for them.

If we cannot source new replacement parts we'll try to source a secondhand working part from salvage. If we can't find a spare part at all and the computer won't work without it then it is probably uneconomical to repair, this is quite a common issue with laptop/notebook repairs. In these cases we'll recover your data and recycle the computer for you. Sometimes parts are available but overpriced and in that case we'll advise you whether it is worth repairing or recycling.

We don't claim to be able to fix everything, some thing's are just worn out or broken, but we won't give you a tale about what's wrong. We'll try to give you back the same computer working like it was when you bought it or at least recover your data. Computers are complicated, yet cheaply made items which are very prone to failures and viruses.

Our engineer has installed hundreds of networks in universities, schools, factories, libraries, city banks, shops and many homes, he qualified as a Novell network engineer in 1989!

We operate a 'no fix no fee' policy on network repairs and for new installations we guarantee our work for 1 year from the installation date. Site visits for new installations are free and we don't charge for emergency callouts in the Lechlade, Faringdon, Fairford & Highworth areas.

PAT - Portable Appliance Testing

PAT Appliance Testing for your place of work

We're equipped to test your electrical appliances at your premises. Portable Appliance Testing or 'PAT' is a UK Health & Safety requirement in any place of work or anywhere where the public or employees can come into contact with electrical appliances owned by your business. Tests on all your electrical appliances including IT equipment, kitchen appliances, power tools and machinery should all be tested regularly by a qualified PAT test technician.

We use professional quality test equipment and we're fully insured to be able to carry out these tests. We typically charge £3 per appliance tested regardless of whether it passes or fails. A pass or fail label is attached to each appliance. In some cases we can repair or at least advise on failing electrical equipment.
